DR. KING AND OUR FATHER'S DREAM: MANFESTO

I have created a manifesto, or proposal not only for myself but for others. I honestly believe that we are all different but we all share similar ideas and care for some of the same things. As a college student, I believe that any person to face this planet is capable to do anything. I do not believe in the word IMPOSSIBLE. I feel that living in the world in God’s hands is a test. It’s a battle that we must face to overcome many obstacles. Believing in ourselves give us strength not only for the mind but for the body as well. A person can have such a strong mind but there body language or appearance doesn’t match up with it. I felt that living in the world that I was the only one facing issues and problems but in that matter I didn’t know that a person down the street went through similar situations like me. I have made it to where I am now and many people have feel in the cracks and become who they are today.

I strongly believe that college is for everyone. Not saying that without college, you will not be successful but we must plan for the future. Nowadays, we can basically go to school for anything. I feel like why waste time taking classes that we don’t need, just take the classes that benefit us personally. That is a very controversial topic but for everyone response a person has, I have a better one.

I strongly believe in PEACE. Peace shows a symbol of unity and love. Peace brings us together and it gives us strength as well. Sometimes peace can divide us because so many people want to be do bad but they wanted to be the recognized different which they don’t know the difference in already inside of us.

I believe in myself and believe that no one has power over me. I believe that I will be an overachiever if I work and put forth effort. I feel that no one is going to do your work for you. Being successful starts with the person first. If a person believes that they have successful overcome the obstacle that they tried to capture then therefore that person is successful. Since we are all different, we must compete any over achieve more than what the next person has done. The reason people fall in the cracks is because they let people over achieve them and place power over them. I give no person any authority besides the person above.

I relate my manifesto to the Declaration of Independence because they wanted to have authority over themselves. They composed a manifesto in which proposed their plan of action. At the time, they were unified and worked as a nation. The things that believe in weren’t as materialistic as they are today but they believe things that came from the heart. They gave every single detail and everything that they believe in or wanted to address. They stood up for what they believe in and that they had a voice.

I consider the Martin Luther King’s speech on the March on Washington to a manifesto. Not only that, but to be one of the most powerful ones. Dr. King had a mission and he had a conclusion of how he wanted it to look in the end. He too also believed in peace. He fought for justice and showed the world that he believe that we showed all be equal as one. He wanted to show that we all have a difference but we must have unity of one. To me, Dr. King is one of my biggest inspirations because he was man who had no problem leading his country in the right direction to recreate what was stated by MAN.

It is very important to go through and look at these different manifestos because they all try to capitalize on what we tried to overcome once before. As it stated, Dr. King wanted to be created equal and he got the impression that ALL man was to be created equal in The Declaration of Independence. As I’ve stated, we continue to go through a battle. We must not continue. We must remember what our FATHERS have fought for once before. With peace, it brings unity and with unity it brings possibility. Possiblity gives us more OPPURTUNITY. That’s all we need to fight through our battles and make it through our TESTS.
